Dipl.‐Chem. Dr. Ruth Christophersen, Mediator (FU Hagen)

Dr. Ruth Christophersen studied Chemistry at the Philipps-University in Marburg, focussing on Inorganic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Toxicology. Through postgraduate studies of “Mediation” at the Fernuniversität Hage she acquired the Qualifiction as a mediator. She active in the field of intellectual property rights since 1988, since 1992 as a patent attorney.

General chemistry, including pharmaceutical chemistry, cosmetics, biochemistry, biotechnology and gene technology, environmental technology incl. water treatment, polymer chemistry, plastics processing, chemical engineering.

Practice Areas

Along with her work in the areas of technical intellectual property rights and Trademark and Design law, she is active as a mediator, i.e., in conflict management in the sector of economic mediation, particularly in the area of commercial protective rights.
